Producer, designer, builder.

I’m a Liberian multimedia producer and designer. My work moves between the control room, the edit suite and the design desk: switching live productions, editing documentaries and campaign videos, animating, designing identities and campaigns, and building websites.

My first business was my own production and design studio, Tyese Studio Inc., on Cheeseman Avenue in Sinkor, Monrovia. I studied journalism at the Peter Quaqua School of Journalism and public administration at the University of Liberia, then worked in Liberian television: as Assistant TV Director at Spoon TV, and at Bosss TV, where I spearheaded the production of MTN Y’ello Star for Lonestar Cell MTN. In 2018 I led an 11-hour video-production workshop for Peace Corps Liberia.

In 2021 I began the animation program at the Africa Digital Media Institute in Nairobi, where I served as Student Council President, and led a team to third place at the AR/VR Africa Hackathon with a virtual-reality app built in Unity.

Today I’m based in Charlotte, North Carolina. I run Peanut Wear, a custom apparel studio, and its sportswear label KOJOMO, and I design and build websites for organizations in Liberia and the United States.
